ANNOUNCEMENT: Hello loyal customers. Wing and I opened up Chinese Happiness in Gresham over 33 years ago. We want to announce that we are retiring and have made the extremely hard decision to close the restaurant permanently on December 29, 2023.

Hood Center will be restructuring and our restaurant is unfortunately a part of that change. While we are sad to close the restaurant, we are excited to begin our retirement and focus on our family and health. We want to thank our amazing and loyal customers for coming to our restaurant, supporting us from the very beginning and giving us the best memories that we will truly enjoy for the rest of our lives. You are all a part of our family and your business has changed our lives. We can’t thank you enough for your support. Our family will miss you all and we really appreciate you so much. We hope to see you around Gresham.

Chinese Happiness is one of the oldest Chinese restaurants in Gresham, Oregon. Winnie and Wing Wu opened this restaurant in 1982 and continue to serve the locals of Gresham with great pride.
